lxdirect - please help I'm so stressed

I had a charity help me set up a payment plan for all my debts as I could no longer afford to keep up the payments, letters were sent to all and all have responded except Littlewoods/LX Direct. I have sent follow up letters and made phone calls but none of their departments seem to communicate in any way with each other. They keep piling on the charges and sending threatening letters. What do I do? I have a different address to send a letter to this time which came with the threat of being done for fraud for not making them aware of a change of address, I had actually it was in one of the countless letters they've ignored or misplaced.

I just spoke to some customer service guy and demanded he put notes on my file of what I was saying , its not his fault I know but why can't company's departments actually communicate?

Where do I stand? I'm writing another letter now, no one will pass me through to anyone with any seniority on the phone. Would the financial ombudsman be able to help me with a complaint against them if this is not resolved? Its not as if I'm not making an effort to pay what I can afford!

I'm that stressed I want to curl up and disappear.

Thanks for reading and sorry if this isn't in the right section.

Hi Lisa - sorry I can't help, but why not try the Debt Free Wanabee section - lots of people there have Littlewoods debts.
