Selling at online auction sites (not ebay)

I have recently done the cambridge diet, quite succesfully, and now I have loads of stuff left over, there is around £100 worth.
I wanted to get my money back, and asked the "counsellor" who sold it to me to buy it back, but apparently it isn't company policy. She suggested I list it on ebay.
I posted it up and it was removed, so now I'm stuck with it -- unless anyone can suggest another online auction site where I'm likely to be able to shift it.
I can't really afford to put £100 in the bin!

Yes agreed with blonde, I myself have sold Cambridge recently on ebay
That said my counsellor did say that she would buy back any unopened stuff as Cambridge don't like their products being sold on ebay as anyone can use them with no medical supervisionSometimes you have to go throughthe rain to get to therainbow0 -
They said it was against their drug policy -- I've sent them a snotty email. When I put it on last night there were loads, but today there were none, so maybe they remove things each morning.0

Just looked on ebay out of curiosity and there are only 23 listed - there used to be hundreds - so it looks as though Cambridge have had their way with this and got it banned.
Is there no one else you could sell them to that you know who does the diet? Or perhaps try contacting Cambridge HO to see if there are any other ways of getting rid of them (perhaps another counsellor might be good enough to take them off your hands??)Sometimes you have to go throughthe rain to get to therainbow0 -
Selling diet products or any food items is a minefield on ebay and unless you adhere to very strict terms you will almost certainly get your listings pulled. The fact that other people hav elisted doe snot make it OK, in fact it is probably those competitors that got your auctions pulled by reporting them.
You might want to try car boot sales if food products are allowed, or what about small ads?I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Just been sent the following from ebay;
Hello,
Thank you for writing to eBay.
Lighter Life and Cambridge products are now banned on eBay. MHRA has
requested that we stop allowing these bars, at the request of the
distributors of LighterLife and Cambridge, who state that the products
should only be sold to patients registered in a programme through a
trained counsellor.
We are in the process of removing these Lighter Life and Cambridge
products. With that being said, please note that our prohibited items
policies cover tens of thousands of products and auctions are listed
continuously. By the time we remove a prohibited item, a new prohibited
item is listed. Therefore, at any given time, you may see prohibited
items listed on eBay, but it does not mean they are allowed.
If you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to reply to
this email and let us know.
Kind regards,
Garth Butcher

But what about lipotrim and W8?? They are VLCDs as well, and items are still for sale on there for them?!!

(1) As long as they are within their sell-by date, your counsellor is obliged to buy them back from you - it's company policy and in her contract.
(2) Most of the stuff still on ebay is advertised as a VLCD rather than under a trade name like Cambridge or LL - could you do it that way???Get free advice before embarking on bankruptcy: CCCS 0800 138 1111 National Debtline 0808 808 4000

Hello,
Please contact Head Office & let them know your Councellor will not buy it back. CDC's should buy back any product that they have sold so long as it is within date & in a suitable state to resell - personally I buy back any products my customers do not want even if I can't resell it and use it myself as I am currently on SS trying to lose my baby weight.
As I said contact HO as they are very keen to stop people selling onto people who have not completed medical record forms, usually the reason people buy on e-bay etc is because they are not able to do the diet due to medical conditions.
Best Regards
Nicky
