how do I word a resignation letter for my mam

In the middle of a resignation letter for my mother and unsure on how to word. Basically just straight to the point.

Please accept this as formal notice of my resignation from the position of XXXX, with effect from xx/xx/08.

In accordance with the notice period as stated in my contract of employment my final day will be xx/xx/08.

I thank you for your support during my time with the company and wish you all every success in the future
