The 0% interest in the first month usually means that you won't have to pay any interest on purchases as long as you pay off the statement in full when it comes.

So she's now going to have to pay interest on the £50 until all of the debt is paid off as the company will clear off the interest free debt first.

If I were you I wouldn't be panicking or paying off £100 a month off someone else's debts while they continue to have such a care free attitude towards the whole thing.

If I were you I'd save the £100 you were prepared to help her with separately and use it as a lump sum 6 months down the line after she's shown she can be more responsible.

If she can't then spend the money on yourself.
