Baby shower ideas please?

Hi there!
Both my cousin and my sister are pregnant (both due in late Sept) and I was thinking of organising a baby shower for them. Sadly, in spite of having had 2 babies myself, I have absolutely no idea how to go about doing this! My basic ideas seem to involve doing something to pamper them and feed them well, and I would also like to be able to give out party bags (with bits and pieces that pregnant and non-pregnant people can use).
I was just wondering if anyone had been to or organised a baby shower themselves and could share their experiences, as I'm sure it would be really useful. Many thanks for any replies!
