As a matter of interest, in the event of the OP being proven not to be the parent, would he be entitled to recoup the maintenance payments from the CSA/mother?
One of the reasons I ask is that he owes me a new keyboard. The one I was using ten minutes ago is full of tea as a result of the 'seemed the right thing to do.' post above!!!0 -

The CSA would pay back in full plus interest all monies paid. The CSA would then, in theory, recoup the monies back from the 'mother'.
But this case is complicated as the OP is named on the birth certificate and the CSA ( forgotton the year...perhaps around 2001??? ) can assume parentage.0
