Court Case's

Options
Hi if anybody's got an answer for this then i would be much thankful. Have a court case set for the 1st of May about PPI charges on my credit card. Originally this was down for the new telephone conferencing however this weekend i received a letter from the courts stating that i now was going to have to attend the court after all. Is this legal to change proceeding with only 8 days till the court case?. I mean i don't work anywhere near where i live, which is where the court case is taking place, so now have to take time off work especially for the case.

The court are free to change the time, location etc - hs been done on several cases through work.

Its unlikely they will rescedule so you'll need to make arrangements to attend as judgement will go against you if not. Or you could send your solicitor to act on your behalf if you have one.
