Reclaiming bank charges whilst in a DMP?

Apologies if this has been posted before. I have been in a DMP with Payplan for approx a year.
Would it be possible to reclaim the bank charges Barclays owe me. God it must be a fair bit I totalled up. Or would this be a bad move baring in mind Barclays are on my list of creditors on the dmp?
Wondering if anyone else has done this? Was thinking perhaps I could get the money and then put it towards paying off my Barclays debt?
Any thoughts?

The only problem I can see is that if were you successful in reclaiming your charges, Barclays would pay it back in to your account. Would that be seen as favouring one creditor over another? Im not sure, other than that I would claim every penny I could!!
