Loan help - in the poo

A family friend lent me £5k in December to get me out of the poo. I then had the worst start to the year I have ever had (self employed) I had hoped to sort it before now. They now need it back due to soemthing they have committed to. So I have been trying to borrow it since last thursday. I have an excellent credit record and pots of equity.

I am now stuffed and feel a total **** . Is ther anywhere that will lend quickly and easily without hammering me - in fact is there anywhere where they arent so fussy, I am guessing the applications have gone against me now.

I would advise an IFA or loan broker. There are plenty around. It really depends on how quickly you need the money.
