2190.16 On Abbey CC

I found this site last night and have decided to do something about my debt.

Ive looked through my finances and have found that my Abbey CC with just over 2k on it is my biggest debt interest problem.(Beside's my mortgage).
I got it for an emergency and then used it for a few extras that I really shouldnt of.

The interest rate on the CC is 15.9%, I've now applied for a Barclays 0% BT and am waiting to see if I'm accepted.

In the mean time Ive just bought myself a CC Piggy Bank of Ebay after seeing the Mortage Pig as I thought it was a cunning idea.
I currently always pay £100 off every month without spending on the card I would like to up this to £150 with saving on every day things and I also plan to use ebay to its pottential after seeing other peoples ebay missions.

What do you reckon paid off by Jan 2009? Sounds fair??

    Hello Shaun

£150.00 per month will still require around another 1k on e bay sales to meet your target of Jan next year.
So choices there if you dont have that amount of sales to go to e bay is to up the monthly 150 or extend the target period a little.

I think however if you look around these boards you ll find other ideas to meet your January 09 target as overall its realistic and achievable.

good luck with it and ill look out the post in the new year to se how you got on:p:beer:
  • Yeah I see what you mean Ive just done the maths "doh".

£150 a month guaranteed and then all the extras that the CC pig gets fed with.
Jan 2009 will be done come hell or high water. lol
