Mortgage on a "future" salary

I've recently got a mortgage, I had a 15% deposit and a 0% card which I had a 4k on it, but had the savings in 2 regular accounts which mature before the card needs to be paid off.

I couldn't get any mortgage provider to supply me with a mortgage unless I paid off the card.

Best thing to do is rent for a bit - think your looking at quite a bit * salary for £115k so the less other credit you have the better.
