Just back from Boots STILL with those blasted £2 spits. Couldn't even give them away today!!!!
Lots of the eyeliners ( bluey/green ) ones on the shelf but not sure if anyone here still needed them so didn't want to be out of pocket the £2.25 difference & never got any. If peeps do want them I do the school run at 2.50 so pm me & I can pop back in after school.

Went round like a headless chicken my list made very little sense. Had an awful day as I crashed my car this am ( well OH car ) so wasn't really thinking straight & felt bad shopping as we have a nice repair bill to pay...hey ho!

Our 1st baby is due 29th December 2007! :rudolf:
I'm hopeful that this get's me out of cooking Christmas dinner!

Baby Ruby arrived after 55 hours of labour & an emergency c section on Christmas Day at 14.41 weighing 6lb 6oz...And yes I did get out of cooking Christmas dinner!!:rotfl:

Not really ( less than a grands worth ) bumper to bumper ish but the guys said they saw nothing. About 5 people around, none came over to act as witness. One really nice bloke mediated but other driver not interested in small talk.
I cried like a baby, went home & OH drove me back down to discuss details.
Suddenly all the men saw it, apparently shouted at me to stop ( had radio on so wouldn't have heard anyway ) & declared it my fault. Basically they closed ranks but !!!!!! happens I guess.
WON'T be using their MAJOR forecourt garage again.

Can I use more than one MOC on different items in the same transaction?
I thought I could but SA refused to let me use RoC £5 voucher and £5 tillspit together, I was buying RoC wipes and a TD toner, she said only one voucher per transaction
She then said I had lost my RoC voucher as she had already scanned it  I asked her to void the TD item and put them through in seperate transactions which she did, a bit reluctantly.

Is this a new thing or was SA, bless her, just in need of a coffee break? She's usually fine with vouchers etc. so I'm wondering if it's a new policy.

Relieved OP are receiving the letter from Boots about the "technical fault". Had thought the problem was just with our small branch ACM last time I used it but looks like a country-wide problem. Question for Basingstoke Boots'ers - are the ACM machines still OK there? (PS. Promise not to brake them:o ).

Absolutely & on that note off on the school run & it is POURING down. I need to get a move on having just eaten a coffee, 3 fresh cream eclairs & a double decker ( from boots as I needed to get over the £5 Boots spend )

I would be surprised as the other day my roc voucher got scanned three times in the same tracnsaction and £15 came off the bill :) Was so happy with that one! It is still valid even if it has been scanned - that's why they scribble over the barcode to stop it being used again.
    Here come the girls....100% Gorgeous!!!

ACMs at Chineham are both working, the ones in town were ok on Monday.
Chineham had a fair bit of reduced stuff this morning (on the ordinary shelves) Boots Hydro Shaving Gel/Foam 35p/30p, an assortment of Hackett stuff heavily reduced, Ted Baker Mens body sprays, face serums and aftershave balm reduced too. Fish mens hair stuff under £1 (get 100 points with the ACM voucher). An assortment of ladies deodorants with 75% off - paid 64p for the Nivea one. There were also a few magnetic frames for 38p and some smallish photo albums for 88p and BOGOF!
Also lots of hair accessories on the reduced counter along with some huggies nappies.
    HTH :D
