Sorry to quote myself :o , It went for £20 and £3.50 postage. For those of you without ebay it was a ted baker bag that i think was reduced but not sure

It's from the old range of ted baker make up bags!
I got it for £6.xx when it was reduced (some bootsers managed to get it for £4). It's really nice but can't believe it went for £20!! (might think about selling my unused one now ;) )

Well, I'd copy the wording as that's what sold that bag eg. sold out in shops - rare etc Brilliant marketing IMO :)

I checked closed auctions & one previously sold for over £30, if I had one I would certainly sell it!!

Sure someone will suggest better but I'd try...

Go in this weekend. It is 10pts per £1 but double points coupon makes it 14pts as it doubles only the normal points

Making it up to £25 by buying pack of gum/something from clearance etc

    So...
    250pts wys £25
250pts on £25 spend this weekend
100pts due to double points voucher

So for £25 you get your olay, GWP and 600pts

Thx a lot for this :T

Does the gift voucher count as cash though? If I was to use it(so pay £15) would the 250pts wys £25 still work?

Also since the points bonus is wys £15 or more, does a till spit count towards this???
for example £10 mobile top up, plus TD to make up to £15,and use till spit from 1st shop...
would i get the points bonus?

    thx in advance

Sorry, really didn't mean to offend. You were lovely and welcoming when I came back but other posts do get lost. No worries about the question - all sorted now. Yes, Lililou you did go out of your way to be nice. Thank you. :A

Just having a moment. Moneysaving is blomming hard and I'm just having a bad day.

Thanks. As I'm often told I should think before I speak but in this case. Think before type.

Please, don't be offended I hate it when this thread gets bogged down with nastiness.

Just chat away and everyone just gets involved. Moneysaving is crap but w've all been there and know what its like. At least Boots gives us a few treats and the glitches make us happy when they come. If I ask a question that doesn't get answered I ask it again a few days later, I know if I don't know an answer I don't reply so I don't think it's anything more than that TBH. I'm not offended, just thought it was a bad day :) :rotfl:
So did you do the .com order and get all those points? I didn't 'cos I don't have £75 at the moment. i wonder how long the points offer combo will last?

  • very tempting but it's really cute (like it too much myself lol!)

I've got the big clutch looking bag too (for £2.82)...but that one I'm giving to my aunt for her bday (filled with various boots goodies)...roll on the next glitch!

Just had a look on ebay and the big clutch one's going for £8 (so far!) [190217075386]...hmmm maybe i'll buy aunt a nice gift box (only kidding ;))

Part of the Furniture 100 Posts Combo Breaker
    Phew!

Just skim-read 17 (!) pages, thanks to the lovely people that PM'd me about the tweezers. I have replied.

    Today's shop-
    1st shop
    double faced cotton pads x2 - 2 for £2
Colgate replacement heads for toothbrush - £3.25

    Total - £5.25
Received 20 pts and till spit

    2nd shop
    colgate toothpaste x3 - 99p each
    TD starter kit - £7.49
    kit kat - 57p

    Total (before deductions) - £11.03
    handed over £5 till spit
    99p taken off (3 for 2)

    Total to pay - £5.04
Got 20 pts and another £5 till spit!

I'm sure I could have split the shopping better to save more money, I ended up putting back a 99p expert hand wash because I was convinced to start with I could get the 2 shops for around £5 each with it.

They've added more clearance stuff at the large Boots on Oxford Street. Loads of printer cartridges (Epsom I think) and loads of printer paper. Would be good for all those people that got the free printers!

    Bless you lililou. :A

Yeah, you're right. It is a bad day. Too much going out and not enough coming in.

I did do the milk order but not as much as £75. I got 11 packs of the ready mixed stuff and about 1600 points. Needed to get it as it's the only milk my daughter can drink die to digestive problems. When she finally gets onto real milk (she's 16 months and we're hoping it will be soon - doctor permitting) there will be money saved.

Thanks for your kind words - just what I needed. :T
