    Happy bunny :D
  • Can someone explain about mobile top-ups. Can you buy them in boots for any network/sim card. My son and I have Tesco value sim cards (I'm a cheap skate) and I just assumed you'd have to top up in Tesco. Can I get them through Boots and if so what do I ask for and how much does the top-up have to be for? Anyone know? Do you get points?

You can get top ups in boots. Get them in £5 amounts and as long as you're not paying with points you should get a till spit for £5 facial skincare. See post no 1 for what you can get free or cheap with it.
  • So I just say I want a top up for Tesco value sim or just any top up will do?

Hi hun, they do work :j I have used the 100 points on TD women (1 product) ACM voucher 3 times in succession with free items (hand & nail cream/toner/gradual tan body moisturiser) and again another 3x successes with my mums lot of the same vouchers. Nice 'free' lot of 600 points was gained :j

I wanted lots of wipes so stockpiled by getting 2 packs at £7.98 and using the 100pts ACM then adding something with 100/200pts for £2.02+ to get another spit :D

    ie Expert 100pts/photo frames 100/250pts ;)

    Oh the value!!!!! :j

I think so. I'd say "a £5 top up for tesco mobile please". You should get two till spits. One with your mobile voucher number and a skincare one. HTH.

Hi Sally :) Are you sure it won't work? Because it works with other items doesn't it? Like the S&G heel genius + mag voucher and TD. Or is that because it's two different brands?

Thanks guys:T I am amazed:D you can actually gain points without spending any cash? I didn't think this was possible.

note to self *must check DD AC tomorrow for 100 points vouchers*;)
  • Thanks catherinehenderson172 and boo_2112. I usually top up via the mobile so wasn't sure how to do it any other way. Obviously a good deal at the moment with the £5 skincare voucher. Presumably I can buy a neverending supply of £5 topups now with free vouchers and use them at leisure. Or is there a catch?

Is there a swap thread somewhere? I want to swap my boots vouchers/points for Tesco ones but I can't find a swap thread anywhere.

    TIA
Hi, the forum rules state "Please refrain from requesting the exchange of personal details either on the forum, via PM or email; particularly for the purposes of selling/trading/exchanging/swapping or giving as gifts"

However it seems they are willing to turn a blind eye to people giving away, but not swapping, their vouchers as it happens all the time.

I think the best place for you to have a swap list as it gets the most replies is bobsfreestufforum. However, till you become a 'star swapper' you will need to send out your side of the swap first etc

    Hope that helps
