There was one point when I had real bad sciatica. went to the GP and had physio, had prescription pain killers and the lot. they eased it but never got rid of it. tried homeopathic remedies and bingo, it went just like that!

As a general rule, the 6c is for long standing aliment and are taken over a long period of time, the 30c are more an emergency type remedy. Instore there should be a flip chart where the homoepathic remedies are that help you choose which remedy is right for the condition. Sometimes there can be more than one remedy to a certain condition so you have to match the symptons up as close as you possible can. It is more important to get the right remedy than the right strenght. IIRC you can take up to about 6 homo remedies at any one time. When taking them, click to pack to dispense a tablet into the lid and then take the tablet from there, do not touch the tablet with your hands as you will contaminate them and reduce their effectivness.

Staying on the subject of natual remedies, we sell a lot of Rescue Remedy around bonfire night as a lot of people give this to their pets to calm them down if they get frightened by the loud noise. These are now available in pastelle form so if you get flying you can take these on board and it won't count to your liquid allowance.

If you are going on a long haul flight, you can get a remedy called no jet lag, and that is just a mix of homo remedies but is very very effective. When i traveeled back from the us last year I took these and i can highly recommend them. they are not available in this country for some reason but are available online from america. don't know if I cam promote the company on here so I won't, but only buy enough for the outbound flight and when you get out there, stock up from the local pharmacy as they are so much cheaper.

btw, nelsons will also send you a free book worth £2.99 by registering at http://www.nelsonshomoeopathy.co.uk/pages/freebook.shtml

you can select from An Introduction & Guide to Homeopathy, An Introduction & Guide to Aromatherapy, An Introduction & Guide to Bach Flower Remedies, An Introduction & Guide to Homeopathy for Pets.

I wouldn't know where to begin answering this AB, :o so I'll keep popping back to it, and will definitely read up on it. Thanks for the lengthy and comprehensive reply :)

(I was going to ask a quick question about it, but I'll PM it later ;))

AFAIK it is still running, wednesdays are my day off some I'm usually a little behind with some of the offers but nobody has mentioned it is coming off to me. Don't tell passion8 today is my day off otherwise she'll be blooming raiding the place!:rotfl:

    BTW, i'm a bloke ;)

 :rotfl: Hi again AB :D

I did 'raid' the place lol, didn't spot any bed in the corner though  so nearly walked out ;) (I knew you were on here btw, that's why I nipped in KW after I'd been to the doctors! :rotfl: )

I spoke to a lovely colleague of yours, (really pretty lady) asked where you were (like I didn't know lol) and she said: "Oh, it's his day off - did you come in especially to see him too?"

I said, under my breath: "not really - I came in to kill him" lol.

No, seriously lol, I said "I know he's not in, that's why I'm in!" :rotfl:

I asked where my bed in the corner was. :D She said: "Is this an in joke?" lol. I said: "No, apparently not, all the staff are in on it so it's hardly an in-joke" lol.

Poor girl looked all bewildered, but I swear I heard another colleague whisper "passionate" as he walked by. :D I'd have killed him too if I'd been able to catch him ;) but he did get oh 200 points added when 2 x albums went through without them, so if he did whisper what he did, he's forgiven ;)

Never realised there was so many staff before btw.

Oh, and your clearance shelf is a bit pants now :rotfl: Can you sort it please? I might be popping back next Wednesday :D x

i need help, its my due date to give birth tomorrow and i keep nipping off in the car to go bootsing, do you think this is a craving and will stop after birth....i have two suitcases full of stash now and my georgous bag is full of vouchers:eek:
Oh now has a card and ive been buying him loads of shaving gel to collect points so he can get some aftershave, i even wake up wondering what to spend till splits on and have to stop myself going near boots.

I even have the staff in boots in panic mode now as they know my due date!
    x

I'm afraid to say it won't go away! I was exactly the same...With Boots & Tesco.
The night before I went into labour I was in Tesco doing the gammon glitch (Buy 2 save £5 but it took the complete price down to £0.00 for £40+ worth!) I was in & out doing the self scan & delivering them to my friends on the way home.:rotfl:
My obsession was put on hold slightly whilst I was recovering from having a c-section but only very shortly! Thank god for .com!

    Good luck!!;)
Our 1st baby is due 29th December 2007! :rudolf:
I'm hopeful that this get's me out of cooking Christmas dinner!

Baby Ruby arrived after 55 hours of labour & an emergency c section on Christmas Day at 14.41 weighing 6lb 6oz...And yes I did get out of cooking Christmas dinner!!:rotfl:

 hope she gets my stash too. Has the clearance disappeared from there it has in PC. Is the TD stocked up again?

I came in on Fri but didn't see you, unfortunately saw your lovely (NOT) store manager. Will be boycotting your store and sticking to KR at least the staff there know how to talk to their customers.

Hiya Rubes :) I did try - only managed 2 x albums with the heart on the front if you want them? (The 2 I bought full price can go to some store in York ;))

Those cute little heart shaped picture weight photo thingy's were on clearance and bogof (I think) so you can have 2 of those as well if you want them?
Don't boycott the store Rubes!

    Demonstrate outside instead ;)

Ok not funny ha ha but it did make me chuckle.

Hope you are OK today & managed to retrieve your bag OK. Hope today is less dramatic for you though no doubt will still be a hive of activity.

Oh god I missed that! XD Yeah, the body was moved last night, forensics and support officers around all day, plus all the press. Even more annoying i the road was really busy, everyone wanted to see the "death row", then we got people going "Oh, has there been an accident?" o.o On a happier note, everything was so chilled, I spent ages scanning every label in both the boots stores for bargains, and got some time delay exfoliators, want some of the blemish serum now. Glad I got my factor 50 suncream lotion for £1 in october, needed it today!
