  • Evening all. I've been in Australia for a couple of months and have missed the Boots thread.

Trust me, there are much better things to do than sit in an internet cafe when you are 200 yards from the beach. :D

Anyways, I have a fantastic treat for you all as I was browsing HotUKDeals and there is a 1000 points code on £30 (yes I said £30).

EDIT: Sorry, forgot the rules. I have been away for a while.

Have posted on the vouchers board.

You need to edit your post removing code and then post on the discount codes thread under 'boots codes-NO CHAT'

Thank you so much for sharing :)

My local Boots staff were stacking the clearance shelf with all the products from the Boots Basic Range - might be nationwide.
They're probably getting rid of the range or changing packaging or something.
    hth

My local got rid of all of this range last week -- I found a nearly empty clearance upstairs! I think is discontinued as no sign of a newly packaged range

  • Popped my card in the machine - first time since change over - and only 2 offers - 100 points when you spend £35 and something to do with travel insurance! Whats going on Mr B? Tried DP's card and he had the same.

Managed to get a few clearance bits by searching shelf by shelf. The massive clearance aisle has disappeared! Did ask SA where it had gone and was told it will be back once they have reorgansied store  .

Photo albums reduced from £10 to £1.25! Only had 2 on the shelf so grabbed them and they went through on BOGOF!

CD holder thingy for DP - reduced from £7.50 to £1.25

2 TS shampoo & 1 conditioner on 342 but used PC voucher so only paid for 1.

    Calpol for LO

2 drinks for me to make up 2 x £5 shops

Got 2 TS but didn't bother to get anything today as the shelf was nearly empty on TD stand.

Managed to get a nice pair of cargo 3/4 length in M&S reduced from £34.50 to £9 and a swimming costume reduced from £29.50 to £5. :T

Off on holiday next week so will visit one or two other stores im sure!
There are only two things a child will share willingly - communicable diseases and their mother's real age

Boots Photomounts 250 marked at 50p (I think, but AB_KW will know better, lol) but going through as bogof, so 25p for 500 mounts. That's if the receipt means 250 mounts ;)

I think these have now been reduced further to 25p but i may be wrong! I know they have been reduced twice thats for sure.

    Ooh clearing basics??

You folk with babies may be surprised at this but Id use the basics baby shampoo over the dearer ones. Why? because it is colour free!

They all contain parabens:mad: and i do, now mine are older try to find shampoos with fewer parabens than others. (The pantene seem free of them but do contain that methyoxbuty somethingorother) but all the baby shampoos contain them, so i made sure I avoided colour. It can absorb through the skin just look food colourings. So dont feel the basics one isnt good enough for your babbas.

Oh and the basics toothbrushes are so cheap and handy for hols cos just use em for a week then chuck em, so hope they get reduced.:T Didnt see any yesterday but fingers crossed for next time and I have £105 points to use!
I can be brown I can be blue I can be violet and sky. I can be hurtful I can be purple I can be anything you like..Gotta be green gotta be mean gotta be everything more...
