I guess I am not worthy to receive Boots mailings, I only get healthcare stuff. But didn't get the recent 200pts voucher either. Can I update my details at the ACM so I can start receiving mailings, does anyone know?
I did get some TD stuff with my spits without handing over any cash, and I got some Hackett silver tubes of hair stuff for 57p each. They were NOT on 342 unfortunately, spent the princely sum of 285 points.

Same here pounds, even though one of the local stores are (allegedly)setting up that camp bed for me!
On-topic (again lol)
No 342 on Hacketts near me either, but, like budgies, they're going cheep .... (sorry)
Boots Photomounts 250 marked at 50p (I think, but AB_KW will know better, lol) but going through as bogof, so 25p for 500 mounts. That's if the receipt means 250 mounts

Morning Amelia's Mum and all
Question to anyone re these 200 points (400 in some cases!) that some people are getting.
Are the people that are getting them people that are on the Spring mailing list? Or can anyone expect an unexpected bonus?
It was just a letter with coupons attached...the letter basically started with something like 'it has come to our attention:eek: ' which could be seen through the window on the envelope (Boots envelope of course) however it said that recently there had been a problem when using AC card in the machine when trying to update details it had wiped PC club/ healthcare details so no longer getting benefits of said club...then gave vouchers to reactivate relevant club and an I'm sorry voucher with 200pts...I know at least one user on here that reported though that they had not used their card to attempt to update details....but everyone appeared to get this letter around the same couple of days last week.

These are homeopathic remedies. About 10 years ago my son started to suffer from puffy itchy eyes, runny nose etc. His eyes looked like blobs of jelly. I thought he had a cold. Same happened the following year. Took me 2 years to realise he had hayfever! Neither my DH or I suffer so I didn't recognise symptons. Tried over the counter remedies - useless. Tried Chinese remedy - poor kid had to drink some foul tasting brew - useless. In desperation went to library and got a book on homeopathy. Diagnosed him myself from the symptoms list etc. Got some nelsons Euphrasia. Brilliant. A lot of people say homeopathy can't work and that it's all in the mind. I don't think you can say that with a 7 year old who didn't have a clue what I was giving him.
You're supposed to take the tablets in a particular way - every so many hours for the first few days etc. which we did but now he just takes a tablet when he feels the hayfever coming on and he hardly suffers at all.
Can't rate it enough. Boots did their own homeopathic remedies and I've tried theirs and they work just as well.
I've also noticed that his hayfever has lessened over the years - I don't know if its something they grow out of or if its the remedy making him immune. So anyone who suffers with hayfever - give it a try.0
