The wife just called to say she bought 2 packs of New born Size 3 nappies (Pampers) from the South Woodford branch of boots for £1.50 each.

Excuse my ignorance - but why does Boots do this, and do you only find out when you go to the till to buy the product?? It's probably on the first posting of the thread which I'll go to now!!

    Wife was v. happy!

So if I use my "double points" coupon will this make 20 points per £1, or does the till ignore this coupon?

I think you just get double points on what the normal spend would be ie instead of 4 points for every pound you would get 8 PLUS then you would get the additional points added seperately. It made sense in my head but doesnt now!!!

Has anyone thats managed to get the reduced nappies got them even when the SEL says the full price? I had a quick look today and the ones that are getting mentioned seem to be still full price in my wee local. I got one pack reduced last week but today, what looked like the same ones, were back up in price
If the SEL might be wrong, ill get a price check tomorrow but I didnt want to look daft when the price was right infront of me!
    Hope this makes sense

That's the one! Sorry, didn't see your posts about this store until just now :o

Boo...you've probably worked out by now that it's about 7 miles from Bar Hill Tesco BUT there is a fairly big Tesco right opposite the Retail Park - depends on what you're looking for in BH Tesco I guess! I love and hate BH Tesco in equal measure - why oh why oh why do I always get near the end of the store and realise there's something near the entrance that I've forgotten and have to trudge all the way back again - it's a flipping big store! :D

luvsbargains...the bags are (or were on Friday night :D) right in front of you when you walk in (ACM's are immediately on your right, don't forget them now :D) Then after picking up your Gorgeous Bag and crashing the ACM machine (or is it just me who does this?) turn left, scoot through the first makeup aisle (No7/Collection 2000/Revlon etc) then turn right so the perfumes/aftershaves are on the wall on the left - to your right on the ends of a couple of aisles you should find clearance stuff. There is also a photo clearance section in the photo bit at the back of the store, and I think there is a small clearance bit in the suntan lotion bit between skincare and photos :)

    HTH

    Thanks so much!
Great instructions:T i have them written down ready!:rotfl: :rotfl:

I really hope they have some bags left! :j

Right then Ladies & Gents....If you have PC vouchers for the £30 off Epson PictureMate PM240 Photo Printer then you need to keep hold of them!

I have now got two of these photo printers for the grand sum of 0.00!!! They have a RRP of £99.99 each. :j

Right....Basically alot of Boots around my way seem to be reducing these right down in price (£20 to £25 ish.)

So if you see them grab it cos with that voucher you are getting them for nothing!

Both times the SA has realised that this has taken the cost of the printer down to nothing & they both said "wow that's a good deal."
