    if it isn't the annual rate, then it might be worth writing about the PPI...

    i know when i claimed mine back (on a loan) all it took was one call to ask to cancell, (was told no...) then a single letter. £427 back, and the rest of the loan was paid off early as well...

    if you're not on the amazing rate that you thought you were, then the £300 is in fact about 10% of the balance...

    Thanks for all the advice everyone.

    I havent sent the letter yet.

    I am not sure where it puts me, but i cancelled the ppi back in 2006, i think i was probably charged for around 6 months but not positive.

    Does it make a difference if im now trying to claim back something that ive cancelled years ago?

    I think LTSB have generally been quite good in holding up their hands where PPI may have been mi-sold. I seem to recall (don't hold me to this though) that they have been fined previously for PPI mis-selling.
    Almost debt-free, but certainly even with the Banks!
