getting egg off carpet - help needed

I have managed to drop a raw egg on one of the carpet tiles in my kitchen - I've cleaned it up as best I can by jsut mopping it with kitchen towel - is there anything I can do do be sure to get it all up - I cant use warm water cos I think that will cook it!

As you`ve got most of it up, I would use very dilute washing up liquid in warm water and sponge the area. Blot with a towel and let it dry- should be fine- could be worse- could have been bleach!

If you've removed the worst of the egg, some warm soapy water won't cook the rest, it'll just allow you to wash it off. Can you lift the tile and wash it in the sink
