Any sky plus offers

Just rang up to get sky setup using the Orange deal. (Thanks to Stevenj214 for pointing it out)
Here is how to do it:
Ring up sky on 08705 800 874
Say you want to use the current Orange deal (which you received by text message from Orange).
They will take a while but they should have it on their screen as a company offer.
The current deal is half price for 4 months on any package.
If you want sky plus, this will cost an additional £89.
Thats it. All set up.
The woman I got through to said that she had someone sign up using this offer yesterday so she new how to do it. She said that it was the best offer that they actually do at the moment.
Thanks again to Stevenj214 for his information regarding this.

I doubt you'll get the 160gb HDD box. You have to pay a premium to get these. All you will get is a new 40gb standard box as opposed to a possible refurb.0 -

No you will get the PVR 3 box which has a 160gb hard drive but only 80gb is useable(other 80gb possible for PPV) its the new box thats only just been released in September , the 40gb PVR2 box is not being issued anymore you are thinking of the Sky160

I've been a Sky Customer for years and Im on teh sports package, now I think its 36GBP per month. Would like to get Sky, but dont want to pay 99 for the box plus the 10GBP per month for their multiroom, works out to 220GBP.
What o I need to do to get a cheap sky+ from sky, just called them and tell that I want to switch to NTL ?
And Can I get the orange offer as well as a cheap sky box ?! If I can, I guess its best to call for the box first and then again for the orange offer?
btw I called around Nov 2004 and got 3 months half-price, can I get it again ?
Any help appreciated.0 -
Rang sky, told them that i had been a customer for years, but nothing, the cheapest they would offer it to me for was £99 for the box and a added £10 a month for multi-room. And no half price offers.
Very dissapointed.0 -

Sky won't give you a dime until you say the magic words "I would like to cancel my account because beleive it or not my life does not revolve around Sky TV"
They then put you through to cacellation team who do everything possible to keep you a sky customer.0 -
