Urgent advice on MCS Ltd Please

Hi thanks for taking a look at this.
I provide all detail necessary but really there are only 9 points in 9 paragraphs.
Allow me to briefly provide all the background and info that will put this regretful situation into context.

I have been dealing with MCS for 8 months on two accounts.
One has 1 and a half K outstanding and the other 2 and 3 quarter K.

I have been depressed I guess (no I don't mean bored with my life and listless I mean truly emotionally defunct and not because of the debt) and so I have not been earning and not claiming benefit either. I have been a burden to my parents for this period of time.

I missed payments for 35 days (I had agreed £20 on the 28 day of the month for both). Due to the letter of inquiry being raised by the system a week late, and the delay in the mail I got the letter that warned me that if I did not play ball by the 7th of April again the claim would be 'escalated', on the 18th of April.

I called them immediately but I was told that I would have to call a 'new number'.
I am now a more 'serious' case or whatever since I am now being sent letters on D&G Solicitors paper rather than MSC.

So I am in an odd scenario. I have one account still 'managed' by MCS and the other with the British team at DG Solc.
One so long as I continue to pay £20 on the 28 this will go on until I am earning again.

When I spoke to the DG agent I was informed that to permit me to pay this same amount on this account I would have to provide a Statement of Affairs Calculator or Statement of Income (I forget the exact jargon).
I presumed they had a form on which they would specify the info they need but they do not.

I was going to base mine on this online calculator I found:
http://www.makesenseofcards.com/soacalc.html

Is there anything I could state on this document they require that could land me in even deeper water if I state it a particular way?

Conversely is there any best way of writing all this that would work to my advantage. Do I have to sign this document ?
Am I obliged to provide it?

Can anyone give me their advice or experiences on where I am at the moment with this?

Thank you very much indeed.
PS I have 4 more accounts 3 of which are very nearly at their limits but I thus far kept them all within their OD limits. One is a further credit card acc but the limit is modest at 1K.

They are asking for a Statement of Affairs (SOA), which is a simple statement of your income, you expenditure and your debts. This gives both you and them a clear picture of your finances. I wrote the calculator that you refer to in your post and it was written specifically for these purposes. It is being used quite widely on here and on another personal finance website to help people create SOAs.

You ask about whether there are things you shouldn't put on it. Really, you need to make it realistic and honest. However, if you put your entertainment expenses at £400 they won't look too kindly on it!

If you have to send them the SOA, then the calculator lets you format for Print. Also if you want feedback from others on your SOA you can use the Format for MSE button which allows you to copy and paste your SOA into a post here for others to comment on.
