Vehicle Contract Hire in NI

Does anyone know of any companies which offer vehicle contract hire in Northern Ireland for non business customers?

  • Dont see why you can not hire from a 'mainland' company and then take the car to NI/

you could try www.lingscars.com she's the Chinese Lady who "slayed the Dragons" in Dragons Den a couple of series ago. She will deliver to Stranraer and you can pick it up at the boat. I did get quotes that were very cheap but then decided to hold on to my banger.

Goodness - I thought MSE was a "busy-looking" website design until I checked out that site. :)

Thanks for the responses. I've found another couple as well https://www.appliedleasing.co.uk and https://www.qvs.co.uk. Don't know what either are like though.
  • i have used https://www.carcontracthireonline.co.uk for my last two cars, i am quite sure they also supply to Northern Ireland. Might be worth a look if you are still in the market

Yup, she is clean off her trolley, just like the website design :)

But often has some excellent deals!

    Cheers, Des.
  • I have searched everywhere in GB and NI and have had friends do the deal in GB and either picked up in Stranraer or shipped over through one of the ferry companies. All has been hassle free. I was still a bit dubious about dealing with someone over the internet as I prefer face to face deals. In the end I went with Business Solutions which is part of the Charles Hurst group in Boucher Road, Belfast. If you pm me I will send you details on Peter Stanley in the company and also Keith over in GB with Persobsl Contract hire and leasing. When you consider shipping costs from GB over and then back as well as peace of mind (I also got use of a courtesy car for a month and a bit for no cost), it made more sense to go with Charles Hurst. BTW, Prentice in Belfast or doing great deals on the A6, coming in at £299 a month, that's better than what I paid for the A4. Worth contacting them as well.
