Mortgage Advice Please

Hi, me and my partner are looking at buying a house as part of the part buy part rent scheme, however although we are eligible for this i am concerned we wont be able to get a mortgage as I have had credit problems in the past, I am tring to sort it out now but am worried that it wll stop me being able to go ahead. My boyfriends credit history is perfect. Does anyone know the best place to try and get a mortgage?

Sarah

We'll need some more specifics, I'm afraid.

What figures are we looking at for salaries, house value, mortgage required, rent figures etc.

  • we earn about £34000 and are looking at getting up to a £65000 mortgage on a 197000 property as a 30% share, rent is about 300 a month, figures are all approximate at the moment as we are in the initial stages
