electoral roll/moving house

Hi
My husband and I want to apply for a loan but moved house a few weeks ago so our names are not yet on the electoral roll for this address. Our names were on it for the previous address though and the one before that.

Will our names not being on the roll yet for this address stop us getting the loan or will they just see that we were on it at the last one and that be ok? I have sent off for the form to get on it at this address but she said it won't be updated for a few weeks yet.

thanks

It can make a difference but not always ... sometimes depends on the lender. I moved in Feb and although I'm showing on the EC with Experian, I'm not with Equifax. When I applied for a loan last week and it was checked with Equifax, it was still prov. approved and I just had to send it some ID. I also got my new orange contract and a CC without being on EC. However, it definately makes it easier not having to send ID each time.
