Goodmans 80GB Freeview PVR -- £29.99 at Sainsburys

Just got back from my Sainsbury's in north London, where they had a stack of Goodmans PVRs on the floor, with no price displayed. It scanned for £29.99, which is cheaper than I've seen these before by some way. The guy at the electronics desk seemed surprised, and said he was going to buy one as well.

Model number is GHD8015F2. It's an 80GB Freeview digital TV recorder with twin digital tuner and 7 day EPG. Reviews are widely available on the net, such as at the site below -- however, cheapest price I can see on the net is £49.99 + 7.99 delivery at a site called www.bargainstock.co.uk.

Which branch was this please? Have any other moneysavers found these in any of the Sainsburys in Hertfordshire or North London?

This was in Harringay. Obviously I've got no way of knowing whether the same offer is available in other stores or nationally.

I went to London Colney also and can confirm none there and then onto Harringay and got the last one with a battered box- hope it works ok. Thanks to the original poster. Don't go near the Harringay store, getting out of the carpark was horrendous- took more than half an hour.
