RAF Pension

Hiya all gurus! i left the RAF last june after completeing 7 1/2 yrs service my question is will that pension fund i have now grow each year or will i get the same figure now as when iam 60?

    Did you know if you Google "RAF Pensions" you get 120,000 hits in 0.18 of second and this is the very first one !

    Yes but that dosnt answer my question of what percentage does my pension grow, so your reply seems sarcastic and unhelpfull iam afraid.
    anyone got any sensible advice?

    You don't have a fund as such, Your annual pension will increase by rpi each year until you retire at 60, assuming you're on the old scheme, 65 if you transfered to the new scheme.

    I think that was changed in the 1975 scheme update

    I have given you sensible advice ! Read the RAF site and it will tell you exactly what you are entitled to and what happens to your accrued pension. From your response it is obvious that you haven't read up on it at all.
    There is a 32 page booklet on this site which tells you all about AFPS 75, which is the scheme I presume you are in, from the limited information you gave in your OP.
    If you cannot be bothered to read that and all you can do when someone points you in the correct direction is to call them "sarcastic and unhelpful" - so be it !

    Depends if they were on the AFPS75 or the new one..

    Im still on the old one...could not decide on what to do.
