Well had a phonecall from 1st Credit today...thought here we go again..... said they were ringing to try and stop it going to court, asked if I was able to make a lump payment...no....could I increase my offer of payment ...no.....What are Payplan offering told them.....and they accepted!!!! well for 6mths then review it........very relieved me!!

That's good news.

So much for levineg10's "1st Credit will never negotiate" :rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

I knew that to be completely wrong, but it's nice to see the evidence.

1st Credit can be a complete pain with some people, but like any DCA they won't go to any great effort if they decide that they are not going to get anything extra out of you.

I would just like to add 1st credit are muppets- I know not very mature or helpful - but my opinion non the less.

I am currently dealing with them for my husband and we keep going round in circles- I offer them a token payment- they ignore what I say and send me another letter asking him to call. I reply saying not going to happen and offering token payment again! I guess they are going to step up the pressure soon
