coming to end of fixed rate: can I re-negotiate?

hiya,
My 4.65 fxed rate is ending soon.I'm with nationwide.I'd like to stay with them, but undertand that the rate is going to jump.
My mortgage is about 60k...which makes it now roughly a 66% mortgage.
The reason I wouldn't like to switch is becuase i don't want to get shafted for an arrangement fee.
Any advice appreciated..Obviously, if I speak to a broker, the only way they'll make money is if they recommend a new mortgage, so I thought I'd ask here first.

With a mortgage that size, you are right to be looking at small or no arrangement fees.
I would get the deals available from nationwide then speak to a fee free broker to see what they can offer.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a Mortgage Adviser, so you need to take my word for it. you wont be able to re-negotiate, they will only offer what products are available, they wont make an individual offer just for you.
do some research yourself - to see if it works out cheaper switching lenders and paying the arrangement fee.0
