Hi
I am living on my own and due to give birth on May 11th and my B/R court date is this tueday. I am unsure how much to put down for housekeeping and clothing. Should I fill the forms in (which I am doing online) with things are at this moment or take into consideration the baby? I will need nappies and baby formula not to mention all the clothes as baby grows. Travel expenses also will increase after the birth too as won't be able to manage a baby and shopping on a bus very easily I don't suppose.
Help!!!!!!!!

You have to put it down as it is now. When you get another IPOQ to fill in for the OR do it as it is then. If before birth enclose a note saying I&E will alter once you give birth or explain it during your interview. If after then all well and good.Good luck those forms are a real brain teaser sometimes.Free impartial debt advice available from: National Debtline - Tel: 0808 808 4000 | The Consumer Credit Counselling Service (CCCS) - Tel: 0800 138 1111 | Find your local Citizens Advice Bureau

Yes it feels like a minefield at the moment. Especially as on full maternity pay for a couple of months then onto the statutory much lower amount so I guess will just have to discuss everything at the interview.0

How long are you taking maternity leave and do you think you'll be returning to work? Congratulations on the baby by the way!
