When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.
But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free.
Examples could be charging your phone up at work instead of at home to save your electricity, hanging the washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.
So be proud of those small steps, they really are important.
Today I will:
Enjoy the weekend everyone:j

Off to see some football today which means using the £20 of petrol I bought yesterday (after a long queue at the garage), but will get lunch and dinner bought for me today, so that's kind of moneysaving I suppose.Almost debt-free, but certainly even with the Banks!0

morning all,
Well it s a pretty quiet weekend for us. I have to go to the wedding dress shop this morning to get my measurements done (i have put weight on since i ordered it a year ago) - it won't be very moneysaving if i need to order a bigger sizeI'm really nervous! I've been trying hard to eat well and tone up but don't think iv'e been v successful.
Other than that....- check online banking
- do los of cooking for the freezer
- quiet night at a friend's house which won't cost anything
- do the washing, drying it outside if its nice later, if not stick it on the airer
- walk home from train station
- get a new slow cooker (outlay to start with, butmoneysaving in the long run).

:hello: morning all
What a lovely day! Very pleased as it's a colleague's wedding, heading down to the west country for the evening do, will try not to spend too much and drive at 60 (I have saved so much money since I started doing this!)
Checked my internet banking and my car insurance money still hasn't been taken out, 360 there tempting me for the weekend but am going to pretend the balance is 0.
Doing three quick washes on 30 before we go so the washing will dry over weekend.
Think that's everything! Have a great weekend xx0 -
