A Nintendo DS game from America

Hi, my son is desperate for the new DS game Pokemon Mystery Dungeon - Explorers of time. It has only been released in America and as of yet it hasnt got a release date for the UK.
Before anyone says anything, he has saved the money himself and has done so in anticipation of it being released (he didnt realise the release date was US only!)
Anyway, can anyone please recommend a reliable website. Also (I know this is a dumb question but...) will I have to use a credit or debit card? Will the company charge me for using the card? Also will I be charged in dollars or will it be converted to GBP?
Sorry to sound so dim, but never shopped on international sites before.
Your wisdom will be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

Some US sites will ship to the UK others will not, if they do the postage will probably be quite high. Also there will most likely be import duty and a handling fee added by the delivery firm. That said, the exchange rate for dollars is nearly 2 to 1 so you might end up with a bargain!
Good Luck0 -
If you can find a genuine seller on ebay and pay through paypal then you can send the money in pounds, and they get charged for converting to dollars. I think you get charged more for sending the money in dollars. I did anyway x0

I use Renchi.com for games from the US. They have Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time for £20, and shipping via registered airmail is only £3. I've used Renchi in the past as it is frequently cheaper to import US games than buy UK games, and Nintendo DS games are region-free - any game will work in any DS. I used Renchi for a Wii game about two months ago, and registered airmail took one week.
Renchi has separate categories for US and JP games - the above link is for the US version.
Other popular import sites include Play-Asia and Video Games Plus, but I have no first-hand experience of either.
Hope this helps!Q: What kind of discussions aren't allowed?
A: It goes without saying that this site's about MoneySaving.
Q: Why are some Board Guides sometimes unpleasant?
A: We very much hope this isn't the case. But if it is, please make sure you report this, as you would any other forum user's posts, to forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com.0 -
I have used Play-asia.com with no problems before. They stock Japanese and US games and it's possible to get a good bargain with them. Shipping was reasonable and it arrived quickly too."All cruelty springs from weakness" - Lucius Annaeus SenecaPersonal pronouns are they/them/their, please.
