Buying a cheap (but good, and economical) printer!

Title that explains it all:
I've heard all these horror stories that you buy a dirt cheap printer, and then ink cartridges are £30. I would like a printer, preferably below £40, even £30, that is good quality, and ink cartridges are cheap. Any ideas? Thanks! x

Inkjet printers aren't economical. They're all expensive to run on a price-per-page basis. If you don't regularly need colour, then I'd recommend a Samsung laser printer, and get occasional photos printed out by a photo shop.0
