in Cutting tax
Hi all, can you help a dumb 22 year old work out her tax
Confused is not the word I am beyond confused.
I will be moving over to 20% tax soon because they have lost the 10% tax. Now how does this fair in relation to what I am paying now? I have this fear that I will be paying nearly £200+ a month in tax (told you I was thick) which means I might as well not work
Below is the total for the last tax year I am unsure if i have paid to little/to much that year. I know this will sound really bad but I just believe whatever is taken from my wages are correct ~ nieve I know
This is last years totals ~
income before tax ~ £11,753.30
tax payed ~ £1,167.68
ni paid ~ £718.63
Any help welcomed :A

With the change in the NI threshold / personal allowances ..... you will be worse off ..... but by just £5.50 per month (assuming a Code of 543 this year?)
Easy to use calculator here .... you can also prove that what you paid last year was correct!
