I am looking for a £10,000 loan but it seems the cheapest lenders don’t allow you to make over payments or pay off the loan before the agreed time, can someone please help me (I have tried money supermarket)?
I want the loan paid off ASAP without being tied down to fixed payments every month.
Loan amount: £10,000 over a 6 month period; I am 22 years old, a full time student, good credit history & a homeowner.
Thank you in advance.

Yep Egg will let you overpay and no ERCs but the tradeoff will be not the best rate on the market.0

# 2 & 3 thank you for your quick reply; I have just looked up Egg & you are both right Egg has no early redemption charge but you are correct in saying the tradeoff will mean not having the best rate.
Egg is the only lender who will lend £10,000 over a 6 month period with no ERC so I will give them a call.
Thank you both for your quick response.0 -

What I meant was the Egg loan has the benefit of flexibility. The downside of that is the interest rate is higher than a standard personal loan rate.0 -
