anyone used 'call credit' for credit report???

hope sum1 can help

ive just got my credit report from them and some things don't add up!!
everything on there's ok except my lloyds tsb stuff. i have current + savings account with them (both of which aren't on...are they usually?) there are no signs of me having an overdraft with them (cleared last june). my lloyds gold credit card only lists from sep 05 (ive had it since 04) and it says i settled it last month...which i haven't! also my lloyds loan is only listed from oct 05 when i started that in 04 also??

it seems to me that lloyds have 'doctored' my file!! what should i do?

on a different note my 'credit rating' number isn't on either. how do i get that?

many thanx in advance : )

don't you have to pay for the ceridt rating seperate? I'm sure if you sign up with experian you get the credit report but pay about £5 for the credit rating.

Is there an option ot buy the credit rating?

btw, I have never heard of this company

  • there doesn't seem to be...mind u there's a 20 page booklet with it which i haven't totally read yet so it could be in there somewhere.

'call credit' was one of the 3 agencies MSE recommended. i've had the online experian report before and i couldn't really understand it!?!

was your's all correct? ive just noticed that mine hasn't included my contract phones on there either.

Erm, it was about 6 months ago and as far as I can remember, it seemed that way. There wasn't much on there because I had little credit being a student. However with 0 late payments, my credit score was still classed as poor. I dont understand it. I know tog et my actual score, it cost £5. Not sure then, if MSE recommended it then I am sure someone will know more than me.

I have my Lloyds TSB basic account status on my call credit file, but CRA's are starting to share their data between each other so if you had an account from 04 and Call Credit are showing 05 that is because they only got the data from 05 and not 04.
Since when has the world of computer software design been about what people want? This is a simple question of evolution. The day is quickly coming when every knee will bow down to a silicon fist, and you will all beg your binary gods for mercy.

Have you e-mailed them? Maybe you could attach a copy of your experian/equifax credit file to back up what you say.

  • e-mail lloyds tsb? it prob would be easier going into the branch but i'm afraid i will swear at them...lol!
i need to phone the loan depts actually cos those details are a bit suspicious also. it seems when i refinanced in 2006 they added a settlement fee and i thought they weren't allowed to do that if you were only changing the interest rate and not borrowing any more money.
    cheers for help guys

    Hi Queen ;)

Banks usually dont report overdraft balance to the credit rating agencies. It is their will actually and its good for us!
They have the information from 05 cz probably since then they started sharing/collecting information! You need to worry about past 12 months information, if they are there and okay then theres nothing to worry about!

CRA's use their scorecard to provide you with a credit score but dont pay anything just to get that, most lenders use their own scorecard, so it wont mean anything to them, just make sure you maintain a good credit history and everything else will go smooth.

There are three major companies of which Experian is the one most lenders use and 2nd one is Equifax. I am not much bothered what CallCredit has stored for me cz not all the lenders report back to all three agencies. they hardly report to one or two at most!

If you want to correct your information, either give them a call or go the your branch, its gonna be a tough ride though. wish you the best!!
