Hi all,

just been doing the maths on a PS3 purchase and was amazed to see play.com offering a PS3 40GB + GTA IV for just £299.99.

Then use a current voucher (look in the vouchers section) to strip 5% (£14.99) off of the price. Do it all through Quidco to get another 4% (£11.99) cashback off the £299.99 price and all of a sudden you're down to £273.01.

Hope this saves someone some money

Managed to cancel at Gamestation and get this bundle for 284.99. Quidco will not apply to consoles at play.com ;-( Never mind, thanks for the heads up.

Was gonna start a thread about PS3 & GTAIV bundles but glad I searched now
You guys have probably browed about a bit, so do you think this Play+voucher is the cheapest deal? The best I could do in town was Game = £319.
I am a bit worried that Play will be sold out of these deals and will have to wait..

PS. Oh my God guys. I so like that GTAIV special edition - duffel bag, safety deposit box, cd, art book...£70 ouch!

PPS. Sod it Have ordered the one at Play for £285. Bargin!

Topcashback are tracking this, got something like £7 tracked..even though they say they wont pay on consoles, i am wondering if its because its a bundle, not just a console? Worth a try.

Gamestation make me laugh (but not in a good way). Ordered the PS3+GTA4+I am legend bundle. Rang and cancelled and the idiots have only cancelled the PS3+GTA4. They have charged me for and shipped the I Am Legend Blu-Ray film!

Probably not as play.com are based in Jersey so majority of shops will prob say they cannot match a price of a retailer thats outside mainland UK....I could be wrong though

Just got an email off Play. They needed additional security checks which meant phoning them - inconvienent as I've bad hearing. Had to cancel. Looks like it's Game for me

I got the additional security checks too when I recently bought a PS3 from Play.

Had to phone them and they asked me to confirm a few details. Then, later that night they sent me an email asking me to send some proof that the bank account I was using to buy the PS3 was mine (had to email them over a scan of the top of a recent bank statement, showing my name & address basically but omiting any sensitive information of course).

Mustard Mitt, they were very helpful over the phone and it was with me in a few days after that via Parcelforce 24. I'm sure if you emailed them back and explained you are hard of hearing they could sort something out for you.
