What to do with Yorkshire puddings

Yorkshire pudding mix is the same as pancake mix so anything that you could have on pancakes/crepes also works on yorkshire puds

Bolognase sauce; roast veg (quartered or halfed onions are lovely); creamy mushroom sauce; chilli; curry

Chocolate sauce; jam; chopped up fruit and cream; golden syrup; maple syrup; ice cream

Not the question, I know but I once went through a stage of adding other ingredients to the tin before pouring the batter in (like you do with toad in the hole) and the best were onions, mushrooms, sweetcorn and if you like cooked fruit - chopped banana (that was put in after batter to stop it burning) - not all together obviously. Raisins would probably work quite well too. Most things work - just think of what you could add to make pancakes or fritters and it'll probably go in a yorkshire!

You might consider a day trip to York at some point. Have lunch at a traditional restaurant and you should find that you can have Yorkshire pud with all three courses.
