Is anyone awaiting an Offer letter from the RBS
The FTB in our chain were told that it would be sent within 72hrs last Friday and still no sign of it.
They have now been waiting the offer letter for over 3 weeks.
The lack of info is really annoying :mad: as everyone else is ready to exchange and complete !

Hi We are waiting for a mortgage offer from First Active who are under the same umbrella as RBS.
Our application was received by them on 10th April and they were not due to underwrite it until 2nd May :eek: due to there backlog. I rang them complaining on Tuesday as we need to exchange by 6th May and I spoke to a manager who managed to get it done today.
They have now approved our offer and said all fine need to wait another 5 days for the offer in writing though.0 -

Just been waiting 6 weeks for our buyers mortgage offer from RBS but after lots of promises got it Friday....Thanks goodness! So don't panic just yet it all seems very slow at the moment.0
