Paying of my mortgage

im 20 years old and have a mortage with abbey in a deal till 2011. my mortgage was 30 years now its 19 because ive decreased my term by paying extra. is there any other way of paying of my mortgage with over payments instead of decreasing my term.

You would have to check with your mortgage provider but I think mostmortgage providers allow over payments either by changing your direct debit or one off payments. I overpay by sending a cheque to my mortgage company when I have a bit extra. Hope this helps
