I know that they repeatedly promised to return money which they took for a rental 'check' which subsequently fell through due to their total incompetence. We never did get it.

except for the general public when it can mean whatever they want it to.

Their branch in Ballyhackamore has been taken over by Templeton Robinson very recently
  • Thanks guys. I think they are about to go belly up - they didn't pay our LL last month. A little concerned for our deposit.

  • Not sure if they are still in business. Have had dealings with these guys in the past and found them to be most unprofessional. Would not recommend their services to anyone.

One of the few positive things to come out of the current recession and housing downturn is that cowboy estate agents will go out of business.

All jokes aside, if that's the case there won't be many of 'em left.
  • I sold my apartment with Jeff back in 2003, and found him to be the best of the 4 Estate Agents I had spoken to about it: professional, nice manner, down to earth etc. Maybe things have changed since then due to the crash in property...
