quick cake making question

I am making some cakes for the freezer as i have eggs to use up.
I was going to make normal fairy cakes - but noticed that I have two apples past their best and wondered if i could add them into the mix. So, was thinking apple and cinamon (also have sultanas that I could add as well).
My question is whether I can just add these ingredients to my normal 4442 mix, or wether I need to adjust at all????

I would say you were fine just to add it. If the apples are getting older they will not have so much moisture so the mix should not be effected.0

Yes you can add them. I often add grated apple, pear carrot or courgette or a mashed banana. Depending on how sloppy the mixture is you may have to add a little extra flour.I like to live in cloud cuckoo land :hello:0
