Hi, we have been given some cornish kobe beef and I am not sure of what to do with it!
As a veggie myself I struggle with what to do with meat apart from with a load of veg, wine and stock for hours in my oven. As this is special beef I would like to do this justice.
Is chuck steak only for slow cooking?
Also am I right in thinking this is where the cows are feed beer and massaged, or have I got this muddled!!lol I'm sure I remember something like that!
Thanks in advance.
Becky

With such a quality ingredient, my immediate thoughts are to cook it as simply as possible and let it "speak for itself".

Normally chuck steak is best suited to slow-cooking; I would imagine that the kobe beef would be more tender than most supermarket meat. How about a stroganoff?
