Reclaim mortgage arrangement fees

Can anyone tell me if it is possible to reclaim mortgage arrangement fees. Although the paperwork says these are non refundable when our buyer pulled out at the last minute it means the bank didn't do much for their £1200 fee?

The buyer pulling out at the last minute means that the bank did everything except transfer the funds to the solicitor. A £1200 fee suggests fixed rate. If you find another property quickly the bank will probably port the deal over to the new property providing you meet the criteria.
