Space Saving Dining Table And Chairs

I am looking for a space saving table for my kitchen. I have seen one in argos but its £99, its called a butterfly table as it folds down small and the chairs fold up and go inside. Does anyone know of anywhere that sells something similar for a little cheaper?? Even if it doesn't come with the chairs? Thanks in advance.

You could try this at IKEA here No chairs - £69. Quality looked fine when I inspected it.

Have you tried your local auction house or second hand store? Butterfly table is the modern name for it, what you are looking for is a drop leaf table, where the sides drop down to leave a narrow table, rather like an upside down U

There should be plenty secondhand, I had one when I got my first flat.

Ikea used to sell them. Solid beech, lovely quality. With the sides folded they would seat two. I bought mine in 1995, and sold it last year for a profit!

Hi - ive got one of the butterfly tables, had it a couple of years now...it is great. It was from Makro but it was more than £99 about £130 i think. you could ring your local makro to see if they have any in?
