Is this a good Accountant quote for Ltd?

They are all reasonably priced imo. I have my own small town practice on the outskirts of Manchester but I wouldnt be breaking everything down with this much for this, and this much for that. Annual accounts, tax returns for company (CT600 !), and personal tax returns, payroll and end of year forms would be £750 from me (everything needed to be done each year), whilst a one off cost for Limited company formation and setup would be £250 inc all forms to HMRC and companies house.0

Looking for advice
The second set of fees has come through at £250 - I asked for a breakdown and got -
The fee note issued XXX was for dealing with the formation of the company (£80.00) set up the PAYE scheme and deal with payslips etc (£66.25) Notification to HMRC of commencement of trading - completion of CT41G to client then to Revenue (£40.00) write up company statutory books (£25)
However this seems to differ some what from the quote - seemingly 3.5 times more! So I wrote back
Thank you for clarifying this invoice. I note that there seems to be additional fees here above that you estimated.
I have already paid £135 for formation of the company, which were under 'formation costs'
From your estimate 26th April 2008 you estimated: "Assisting with completion of company formation forms, PAYE and VAT registration etc £70". I am doing the VAT myself, so would expect this to be less, but I total this section now to be £250, 3.5 times your initial estimate.
Apologies if I have miss-understood an some of the fees you state come out of other sections of the quote (for example "Preparation of the company's annual financial statements and Corporation Tax Return £400) and the fees paid now will be taken out off this £400.
I realize that estimates are simply a prediction of costs and they can increase if the complexity increases, but 3.5 times the estimate seems a little excessive.
Any advice???0
