This is a nice little "scam" for all the budding Sarah Beenys out there......buy it, leave title in the original owners name, do it up, flog it, and save on the stamp duty.illegitimi non carborundum0

Yeah, but what if the person you buy it off goes and buys another property and you sell it while it in the that persons name??
WHat about the tax issues when selling second property?
I am sure it could cause more problems than its worth.

Would agree sounds like a legal disaster waiting to happen.If I were a solicitor acting for a purchaser I'm sure i would have a lot of questions as to who actually owned the property.0
