Mentioned it to DH today and he didn't say no - in fact, he asked what times the trains were, so looking positive so far but that would be with the kids so need to budget tickets, lunch etc for them too so I'll hopefully be able to give a definate answer tomorrow.

Would be great to put some faces to names.

I may hover around you all in my invisible cloak, as it will take me ages to decide if you are who you are, before approaching. My secret phrase will be "can you lend me enough for a drink please, I seem to have left me purse at home" If it,s not you lot then I might still get lucky........or thrown out of the pub. HUH! been thrown out of better places than the counting house.

Excellent that you guys are coming along.... i like that line teedy, don't be surprised if a chunky brunette with a little blonde in tow tries that line on you!!

I'm sure we'll all become apparent to one another no trouble at all.

    Hi everyone

If you are taking the train and buying a cheap day return, remember kids go free with the "days out ticket"

I dont think you could have gotten it cheaper, even with the kids free promo there doesnt seem to be a cheap day return option so cheapest was around £65 for an adult return.
