Credit reference agencies

Hi all, I've just read some information on checkmyfile about the 3 credit reference agencies (link below) and it seems to imply that Experian is next to useless to lenders as it hardly contains any information. Firstly I'm surprised by this as some of the info with big red crosses (eg searches, account performance) is definitely on the Experian credit report I received recently. Also, I thought Experian were the biggest of the 3 agencies?!

This would seem to imply that most lenders would use Equifax or CallCredit in preference to Experian. Can anyone comment on this?
The reason it worries me is that my Experian report was much better than I thought it would be, as a couple of outstanding debts which were passed to collection agencies (not defaulted credit agreements, just invoices that weren't paid on time) aren't listed on there. I assumed this meant I'd got away with it and the (small) companies I owed money to hadn't listed the info with the CRAs. Based on this website I'm assuming that this info is far more likely to be on Equifax or Callcredit?
