Good evening everyone, after 4 months on the board and lots of posts, i have had my ups and downs right up untill today with spending and the debts etc. Yet, tonight ive really come to the conclusion as its payday tomo that with the prospect of being able to own my own home next summer in my dream location i have got to stick to this and be much more realistic. But....I need help and motivation to do this! I live at home still with my mum and sister, and everything in the house is split three ways. I work full time in a control room for emergency service and do uni part time which my job are funding, and i am doing my masters alongside this which i am funding myself module per module....So thats me!! But i have reconised finances.....after this module i am doing...ill take a break before the next
So i am re doing my plan....i am going to not spend, i have no reason to spend to, my motivation is there and i need things to keep busy. the only real expenses i can think of really until June is travel, paper and medicines i have to have. I can keep busy with uni, studying, work hard there, i tend to get the munchies on late evenings though, and spend! So if anyone has any ideas there please offer?!!!
Ive just made a tasty dinner using mince pie potatoe things and beans and gravy...no spend....yummy!!! It has made me feel good, seeing as at lunchtime today before my exam i spent 4.50 in KFC!! Thats a start!
So what is everyone else's situation? Anyone got any thoughts....Im not back to work untill next thursday and have uni work to keep me occupied until then....
Thanks for listening to my rant everyone

I'm new to the forum but I'm motivated into clearing my debts BIG TIME! I'm on a dmp with CCCS and this is only my second month and I've just had a peek on line at my account and I'm seeing my debts going down! My mum who lives abroad, has phoned me and said she will pay for me to go and see her and I won't have to pay a penny! I know I should be clearing my debts but the chance to see my mum (who I don't see that often due to not having any money) is priceless and she's not expecting me to pay her back either. Just realised how important my family are, they're worth more than money. So I'm a bit emotional this evening.Debt 30k in 2008.:o Cleared all my debt in 2013 and loving being debt free

Mortgage free since 2014
